Finally the cheapest Smartphone of the Indian market has been launched today - Freedom-251 by Ringing Bells for ₹251 ($4). The mobile(considering the price) might look just an illusion to some people as it sound ridiculous that a smartphone can be priced at just ₹251(thats the price of a meal at McDonalds).
But guys thats true, the 4 inch mobile powered by a 1.3GHz processor and packed with 1GB of RAM is priced much below than what was expected.
First Impression of Mobile
The mobile is priced at ₹251 whereas expected price was around ₹500 (thats 50% low).
The Freedom 2 51, which Ringing Bells says has been made with immense support from the Indian government, complies with the governments Make in India program. With such a price point, the little know smartphone maker from Noida is aiming to make the smartphone accessible to everyone
